I have so much passion teaching food photographers and food stylists how to hone their craft, and gain the confidence to make money doing what they love.

I WORK WITH FOOD STYLISTS AND PHOTOGRAPHERS LOOKING TO FIND THEIR UNIQUE STYLE, LIVE A MORE CREATIVE LIFE, AND BUILD A BUSINESS OF THEIR DREAMS.
After graduating in 2012 from Le Cordon Bleu with a degree in Pastry Arts, I opened up a cake decorating shop and ran it out of my house for 5 years. I loved creating custom gorgeous cakes but it was exhausting and at the end of the day not worth the money I was bringing in.
It took time away from my family and I realized it wasn’t worth the effort or time. I knew that I could switch to an online business but wasn’t sure how.
Some friends of mine planted the seed of starting a food blog but I really wasn’t sure how. In early 2017 I officially closed up my cake business and got the courage to start my baking blog.
I literally had no idea what I was doing- I googled everything and made A TON of mistakes.
I soon realized though that in order for my blog to do well and stand out, I needed to learn how to take really beautiful pictures. I enrolled in an online photography class, then another, read a ton of books, was on Pinterest all day long, and practiced and practiced.
As I got better my Instagram account grew and I started to gain photography clients. Then in 2018 I won a Saveur Blog Award under the category Best Food Instagram with less than 5,000 Instagram followers.
Soon after, I started getting questions about how to run a business, and if I would start teaching photography.
I NEVER thought I would start teaching but after some people asked me about it, I realized there were a ton of photography courses out there but none that were focused heavily on styling, creativity and direct feedback. So, I put together a program to teach my signature methodology that has allowed me to make more money than in any job I’ve ever had, get featured in 4 national magazines in one year, and use my creativity every day.
That is how “The Style Mastermind” was born!

How I'm Different
I LOVE TO TALK ABOUT MONEY
I’ve negotiated with major brands and networks from 40% to 700% (!!) increases in brand deals. I believe that money is an exchange of energy and that there is more than enough to go around!
i have a thing for color
Color plays a HUGE role in my life and my photography. I didn’t realize until I was interviewed by Bjork from Food Blogger Pro (omg still shoooketh he knows who I am) how important it is in my life, and how basically every job I have ever had has something to do with color. It makes me happy and I can talk about it all day!
I’M JUST AS OBSESSED WITH FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY AS I AM RELATIONSHIPS
Long term relationships are kind of my thing. I love getting to know my students and I care so deeply about their success. YOU( yes, you hiyeee!) are super important to me if I can do this, so can you.
