HI! I'm Sam - a 6 figure food photography business owner who knows what it feels like to start in the food photography space.
That is how "The Style Mastermind" was born!
I started my food photography business in 2017 after starting my baking blog and knowing I needed pretty pictures to get people to make my recipes.
So I set off on a mission to learn everything I could about food photography, styling, and how to make money online while working from home and taking care of my family
In my search to master everything about food photography and styling, I was able to create a beautiful recognizable brand, work with huge clients that actually paid me, and win a Saveur Blog Award with only 5,000 Instagram followers. Then, people started asking me how I did it, and how they could grow their businesses too.
Today, I run a 6 figure food photography business (and have been for the last 3 years!)
I've had the honor of working with clients such as FOX Entertainment, Aldi, Wusthof, Cuisinart, B&H, and have even graced the pages of four national magazines.
Through my programs I have helped hundreds of other photographers leave their full time desk jobs, 10x their revenue, and go on to build 6 figure businesses too.
My mission is to empower fellow food photographers to build fulfilling, creative businesses of their own. I'm here to share every lesson, insight, and strategy I've learned along the way.

How it works
This program is a 90 day group coaching program that includes biweekly calls with your new besties and a daily communication channel for questions and feedback. There are 8 modules thay get released weekly in our membership site.
We break down limiting beliefs of what’s holding you back from becoming a success story and give you a confidence boost to set you on the right track. You’ll be able to recognize sabotaging behavior and reframe your thinking to act like a BOSS!
WEEK ONE: Mindset
We’ll learn about how creativity works, the creative process that every creative entrepreneur goes through, plus some deep diving in to how to cultivate your creativity to stay motivated and inspired on a daily basis.

The Creative Entrepreneur
You’ll learn how to create a client attracting brand, hone in on your mission, and find your unique signature style, because yes you have one!
WEEK THREE:
Branding & Signature Style
Light can make or break a photo and you’ll learn exactly how to manipulate it to your advantage. We’ll dive deep into color theory and how you can use light and color together to create showstopping images.
WEEK FOUR: Color & Light
We'll learn and break down 30+ compositional techniques that will take your photography skills to the next level. Including grids and styling videos for visual learners.
WEEK FIVE: Composition
You’ll learn how to evoke emotion through your photography and let the viewer know what’s happening in your visual story without the use of any words. We’ll talk all about props- what you need and what you don’t, and where to buy them.
WEEK SIX:
The Art of Storytelling
You’ll learn how to troubleshoot all the hard to shoot foods like- soups, salad, cocktails, chicken, and so much more. Plus learn how to get yourself in the shot without needing another person! Food styling tips, tricks, and hacks are all included.
WEEK SEVEN:
Hard to Shoot Food
Gain the confidence and knowledge of exactly how to make money in this field. You’ll learn all the ways you can diversify your income, reach out to brands, what to say, and what to charge to make some money!!!

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE STYLE MASTERMIND AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Style Mastermind is a guided (by me and a co-coach) food photography program that includes education, support, and accountability. You'll get access to a membership site where you watch pre recorded videos that are designed to help you level up your photography skills, find your unique style, and teach you how to make money in this industry. We have a daily communication channel (think like slack) where you can post questions from the videos, your homework (its fun!!), or get support if something challenging comes up. We also have a group coaching call every 2 weeks where you can get your questions answered live and be held accountable for your goals. I've had over 100 students go through this program with about a 90% show up rate. Basically I will not let you not do this program once you sign up :)
